Onga PWT-SDB 1.0m Fibreglass Deep Bed Pool Filter with 1.2m Sand Bed and 65mm MPV

High-flow commercial circulation systems and large aquatic filtration installations can integrate the Onga PWT-SDB-12-10-25 deep bed filter for continuous water treatment and substantial sand filtration capacity. The 1.0 metre vessel combines a deeper 1.2 metre media bed with larger 2.5” / 65 mm valve connections to support elevated hydraulic performance across demanding commercial operating environments.

Maximum hydraulic flow performance reaches approximately 39.0 m³/hr, while backwash capability extends to approximately 25.2 m³/hr during servicing and filter cleaning procedures. The filter provides an effective filtration area of 0.78 m² together with approximately 1436 kg of filtration sand media capacity and a maximum operating pressure rating of 250 kPa.

Balanced water movement through the media bed is maintained through dual layers of laterals designed to support even hydraulic distribution and stable filtration consistency during continuous operation. A 4” sight glass provides visibility during backwash cycles, while the integrated servicing manhole simplifies internal maintenance access and inspection procedures.

The vessel is manufactured using spun-woven UV resistant fibreglass developed for chemical resistance, structural durability, and outdoor commercial operation. Plumbing integration is supported through a 50 mm / 2” drain arrangement together with the larger 2.5” / 65 mm valve connection configuration.
