Davey DAT270 26.5kW Aluminium Alloy Inverter Heat Pump for Residential Pool Heating with TurboFan Design

High-capacity pool and spa temperature management applications can benefit from the Davey DAT270 AquaThermPRO heat pump across large residential pools, swim spas, plunge pools, and spa systems. The side discharge airflow configuration assists installations where equipment space is restricted, while integrated Wi-Fi functionality provides remote monitoring and operational control through the Davey Heat Pump app.

During Air 27°C and Water 27°C operating conditions, the unit delivers approximately 26.5kW heating capacity in Turbo mode together with approximately 20.6kW heating capacity in Perfect mode. Cooling capacity reaches approximately 10.2kW under Air 35°C and Water 28°C conditions. Operating from a 230V single phase power supply, the inverter-driven system uses rated input power ranging approximately from 0.54kW to 4.00kW with rated current between 2.35A and 17.39A depending on operating demand and selected performance mode.

Thermal output regulation is controlled through a DC twin-rotary compressor and DC inverter fan arrangement that continuously adjusts operating capacity according to changing pool conditions. The twisted titanium heat exchanger maximises thermal contact efficiency, while integrated heating and cooling cycles support year-round water temperature management. Turbo, Perfect, and Silence operating modes allow flexible balance between rapid heating response, energy-conscious operation, and quieter acoustic performance.

Outdoor durability is supported by an anti-corrosion aluminium alloy casing combined with reverse cycle automatic defrost functionality for colder operating environments down to approximately -15°C ambient temperature. TurboFan with InverPad® technology contributes to quieter airflow characteristics with sound pressure levels approximately between 39.8dB and 50.2dB at 1 metre distance, while soft start technology assists in reducing startup inrush current during operation.
