Developed for residential in-ground spas, above ground spas, and swim spa installations, the Davey SpaPower Q54553P delivers controlled electric water heating for compact hydrotherapy systems operating under continuous circulation conditions. Its installation flexibility allows the heater to be mounted vertically on the supplied base or horizontally where lower profile equipment layouts are preferred within confined spa plant areas.

The single phase 240V heating system produces 2.3kW output with maximum total loading rated at 19.5 Amps. Pressure switch protection activates at 5 psi and disengages at 2 psi to maintain operational safety during normal circulation flow conditions. The heater assembly is designed for operating pressures up to 300 kPa while maintaining stable water temperature regulation through the integrated thermostat control arrangement.

Water temperature adjustment is controlled through a dedicated selection dial positioned within the heater head for straightforward operational management. The prewired electrical system simplifies supply connection during installation and includes a 10A mains output socket suitable for compatible spa air switch control equipment. Stable heating operation is supported through fail-safe electrical protection systems developed specifically for spa and small pool environments.

Constructed using high temperature engineering plastics, the SpaPower Classic Heater is configured for long-term spa heating service across demanding operating conditions. The assembly is supplied complete with 40mm barrel unions, O-rings, and lock rings for direct integration into spa circulation pipework. Thermal protection incorporates a 55°C over-temperature cut-out system, and the heater is fully approved for pool and spa use under AS3136 approval number SGS/110545.
