PoolControls Zenheat ZHT17 Vertical Airflow Inverter Pool Heater with R32 Refrigerant

Configured for residential pool and spa heating, the Zenheat ZHT 17 uses a fully inverter air-source heat pump system with R32 refrigerant and a titanium heat exchanger. The DC inverter arrangement is designed with vertical airflow through the top discharge outlet, while automatic defrosting is provided by a 4-way valve. The unit operates from a 220–240V, single-phase, 50Hz power supply.

The ZHT 17 has a maximum power input of 2.50 kW and maximum current of 11.9 A, with a specified water flow volume of 5.5 m³/h. Its working temperature range is -15°C to 43°C, defining the temperature conditions stated for operation. The model's electrical input and water-flow specifications distinguish it within the ZHT range.

The heater uses an ABS casing with an IPX4 waterproof level. Noise is specified at 43–55 dB(A) at 1 metre and 23–35 dB(A) at 10 metres. Its net weight is 57 kg, with a gross weight of 70 kg, providing the product and packaged weights for installation and handling considerations.

Net dimensions measure 650 × 650 × 770 mm, while package dimensions are 680 × 720 × 910 mm. The ZHT 17 therefore uses the same stated physical and package dimensions as the ZHT 13, while retaining its own power input, current, water flow and noise specifications.
