The Onga B2-48Y Blazemaster 2 is a single stage diesel engine-driven firefighting pump designed for high-volume applications including water transfer, irrigation, tank filling, and emergency response. Its single impeller configuration is engineered to deliver strong flow output with stable pressure, making it suitable for medium-distance pumping and rapid water delivery in field conditions.
Constructed using marine-grade aluminium across the pump casing, impeller, diffuser, pump cover, and discharge components, the B2-48Y provides excellent corrosion resistance, structural strength, and reduced overall weight for portability. The advanced hydraulic design improves flow efficiency while maintaining reliable operation. Internal sealing components include a carbon/ceramic mechanical seal, NBR O-rings, and an EPDM non-return valve to ensure long-term durability and leak-free performance.
Based on the performance curve for the B2-48Y model, the pump delivers a maximum flow of approximately 550 L/min at low head conditions and achieves a maximum head of approximately 45 metres. It also supports a maximum suction lift of 8 metres, allowing efficient water draw from tanks, dams, and open sources.
The unit is powered by a Yanmar L48N 5.5 HP diesel engine with 219 cc displacement, operating at up to 4000 RPM. It features a 2.4-litre fuel tank and uses SAE30 oil with a capacity of 0.8 litres, supporting continuous-duty operation with reliable fuel efficiency and field-ready performance.
