Outback 304 Stainless Steel 30m Tank Float Switch to Suite Solar Pumps

The Outback 304 Stainless Steel Tank Float Switch is a durable probe-style level sensor designed to automatically control solar pump operation based on tank or trough water levels. Built specifically for rural and off-grid water systems, this heavy-duty float switch uses a solid stainless steel probe design rather than a mechanical float, ensuring reliable operation in harsh outdoor environments.

Supplied with a 30-metre pre-attached cable, the probe can be easily installed in tanks or troughs where the pump controller may be located a distance away. When water reaches the probe level, the switch signals the solar pump controller to stop pumping, preventing tank overflow. As the water level drops, the switch resets and automatically allows pumping to resume.

Unlike traditional float switches, the stainless steel probe design is resistant to UV exposure, livestock damage, algae build-up, and long-term water immersion, making it an ideal solution for livestock watering, remote tanks, and open outlet water systems.
