The pump operates from a single-phase 240V power supply and delivers 0.60 kW input power with 0.45 kW motor output. With operating noise levels around 54 dBA, the SilentFlo 550 is suited to installations where quieter filtration equipment is preferred.
The hydraulic design is engineered to provide stable circulation performance and efficient pool water movement during normal operation. A large-capacity strainer basket helps capture leaves and debris before they enter the pump internals, reducing cleaning frequency and supporting uninterrupted circulation performance. Dual 50 mm barrel union connections also simplify servicing and installation work.
Constructed from UV resistant thermoplastic composite resin, the pump body is designed to withstand harsh outdoor environments and chemically treated pool water. Additional design features include a stainless steel motor shaft, captive bolt arrangement, cam-and-ramp lid system, and a TEFC continuous-duty motor with IPX5 environmental protection.
