Product Overview
For HVAC water circulation and climate control circuits, the Grundfos MAGNA1 32 120 N canned-rotor unit utilizes a glandless pump design with G 2 inch connection ports. The integrated control box manages operational settings without external shaft seals. Fluid circulation serves commercial heating loops, chilled water networks, and ground-source heat pump exchangers.
Hydraulic performance delivers a maximum head of 12.0 meters and a maximum flow rate of 95.8 L/Min, matching 5.745 m3/h. Powered by a permanent-magnet motor, the unit operates on a 240 V single-phase supply at 50/60 Hz, with power input P1 of 188 W and current draw of 1.51 Amps. Maximum system operating pressure is rated at 10 bar.
Housing construction features a stainless steel casing grade EN 1.4308 ASTM A351-CF8 enclosing a composite impeller. Internal components incorporate a carbon-fibre rotor can, stainless steel rotor cladding, and bearing plate, running on ceramic bearings. Net weight is 4.89 kg with a 180 mm port length, handling liquid temperatures -10 to 110 °C.
Control functionality offers three proportional pressure curves, three constant pressure curves, and three fixed speed steps selectable via a front panel push button. External monitoring and fault signaling are facilitated by a fault relay output and digital start/stop input. Ambient operating temperature spans 0 to 40 °C.

How is the pump casing constructed to resist mechanical and fluid wear?
Wetted components on the Grundfos MAGNA1 32-120-N are crafted from high-grade Stainless Steel to maintain physical integrity and resist abrasive wear.
What electrical supply parameters are needed for this pump motor?
Electrical power for the MAGNA1 32-120-N requires a 240 V connection, driving an efficient 0.19 kW motor that draws 1.51 Amps.
How deep can this pump be installed underwater in a wet well?
Liquid operating limits establish that the MAGNA1-32-120-N accommodates temperatures up to 10°C during standard duties.
How much pumping height does this pump provide?
Dynamic lift generated by the MAGNA1 32 120 N reaches a maximum elevation head of approximately 12 m across discharge lines.
What peak fluid displacement volume can this pump deliver?
Displacing fluid into connected headers, the MAGNA1/32/120/N sustains up to 95.8 L/Min of volumetric throughput.
