Product Overview
Sized with a 50 mm nominal bore, the Grundfos UPS 50-60/2 F 415V circulator pump addresses moderate-flow secondary heating circuits and commercial chilled water systems. It installs into central plant distribution headers where low head loss and steady circulation are required.
Constructed with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron pump housing measuring 280 mm port-to-port, the unit incorporates an EN 1.4301 stainless steel impeller and aluminium stator body. It is rated for 10 bar working pressure and liquid temperatures from -10°C to 120°C, with a net mass of 20.6 kg.
The 3-phase 400-415 V 50 Hz motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 360 W with a peak electrical power input (P1) of 360 W and draws 0.74 A on speed 3, stepping down to 230 W on lower settings. Flow capacity reaches 15.5 m³/h (258 L/Min) with a maximum head of 4.8 m across DN 50 DIN flanged terminations.
The canned rotor configuration utilizes ceramic radial bearings and a carbon thrust bearing bathed in the pumped fluid, removing external seal maintenance. The terminal box provides IPX4D ingress protection and links internal thermal protection switches to safety disconnects.

What are the maximum installation depth and liquid temperature boundaries?
Liquid operating limits establish that the Grundfos UPS 50-60/2 F accommodates temperatures -10°C to 120°C during standard duties.
How high can this pump lift water vertically?
Dynamic lift generated by the UPS 50-60/2 F reaches a maximum elevation head of approximately 6 m across discharge lines.
What maximum flow rate does this pump achieve during heavy influx?
Displacing fluid into connected headers, the UPS-50-60-2-F sustains up to 258 L/Min through a DN 50 connection of volumetric throughput.
What materials are used to construct the pump casing and impeller?
Durable Cast Iron construction gives the UPS 50 60 2 F exceptional structural strength and long-term protection against corrosive fluids.
How much power does the motor consume during standard operation?
Powered by a dedicated 0.2 kW motor, the UPS/50/60/2/F connects to 415 V mains power with a rated current draw of 0.74 Amps.
