Extracting water from ponds, collection pits, or flooded rooms requires specialized equipment capable of low-level suction. The Calpeda GX ZERO is designed for handling clean water containing solids up to 3 mm in grain size, making it ideal for rainwater harvesting, flowing streams, and emergency domestic drainage. Its continuous duty rating ensures reliable performance during extended pumping tasks in submerged environments.

Operating on a 240v single-phase (GXM) or 400v three-phase supply (GX), the 0.25 kW induction motor produces efficient hydraulic output for small-scale drainage. The pump achieves a maximum flow rate of 100 L/min and reaches a up to 9 m, drawing 2.5 Amps in the single-phase configuration. Stable performance is maintained through a double impregnation humidity-proof dry winding designed for continuous immersion.

The internal hydraulic configuration utilizes a single-impeller design protected by a robust technopolymer pump casing and filter. A significant technical differentiator is the suction non-return valve, which permits the pump to be manually relocated to various points within a room during operation without losing its prime. This feature ensures the unit can draw water down to a residual level of just 1 mm from the floor.

Mechanical durability is provided by an external jacket and motor jacket manufactured from chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304. Internal cooling is achieved by fluid circulating between the motor jacket and the outer shell, which supports safe service even when the unit is only partially submerged. Sealing is managed by a double shaft seal with an oil chamber containing oil for food and pharmaceutical machinery.

    FEATURES

    • Manufactured with motor and pump jackets in chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 for corrosion resistance.
    • Unique suction capability allows for manual water extraction down to 1 mm from the bottom without loss of prime.
    • Suction non-return valve enables manual relocation of the pump to different drainage points during operation.
    • Double shaft seal system with an integrated oil chamber protects the motor against fluid ingress.
    • Internal cooling is achieved by the pumped water passing through the external jacket for thermal management.
    • Integrated suction filter prevents the entrance of solid particles larger than 3 mm to protect the impeller.
    • Motor features a triple impregnation humidity-proof dry winding constructed in accordance with EN 60034-1.
    • Certified IP X8 protection rating for continuous immersion at depths of up to 5 meters in collection pits.
