Draining flooded rooms and tanks is the primary function of the Calpeda GXRM 12-12. This submersible unit is engineered for handling clean water containing suspended solids up to 12 mm in diameter. It is particularly effective for extraction of water from ponds, streams or pits, and for rainwater collection with a maximum liquid temperature of 40°C.

Operating on a single-phase 240v supply, this 0.55 kW pump delivers consistent hydraulic performance with a maximum flow rate of 350 L/min. It reaches a total head of 11.3 m and operates with a rated current of 5.2 Amps. The system is designed for continuous duty operation, maintaining hydraulic stability during prolonged drainage tasks.

An open single impeller design allows for efficient flow behavior when managing clean water with small suspended particles. The vertical delivery port configuration assists in compact installations, while the integrated filter restricts the entry of oversized debris. For manual operation, the unit can draw water down to a minimum level of just 15 mm, or 70 mm when utilizing the built-in float switch.

Construction consists of a chrome-nickel stainless steel AISI 304 pump casing, motor jacket, and impeller for enhanced corrosion resistance. Motor protection is provided by a double shaft seal with an oil chamber containing lubricating oil for food and pharmaceutical use. The 2-pole induction motor features a double impregnation humidity-proof dry winding and is cooled by the pumped water circulating between the motor jacket and external jacket.

    FEATURES

    • AISI 304 stainless steel construction for the pump casing, filter, motor jacket and impeller ensure long-term durability in submerged environments.
    • Double shaft seal system with an integrated oil chamber provides a robust barrier against water ingress into the motor housing.
    • Seal lubrication is maintained by a dedicated oil chamber filled with oil suitable for food and pharmaceutical machinery.
    • Integrated float switch provides automated start and stop functionality based on water level changes in collection pits.
    • Single-phase motor incorporates a built-in thermal protector and an incorporated capacitor for simplified electrical installation.
    • Open impeller design in chrome-nickel steel facilitates the passage of suspended solids up to 12 mm without clogging the hydraulic components.
    • 2-pole induction motor is protected by a double impregnation humidity-proof dry winding designed to insulation class F standards.
    • IP X8 protection rating permits continuous immersion at depths up to 5 meters with the supplied 10 m power cable.
