MATelec HydroTOUCH FPC-43220-F Mild Steel 5.5 kW Variable Speed Dual Pump Controller

A steady-pressure dual-pump system is at the heart of the MATelec HydroTOUCH FPC-43220-F, rated at 5.5 kW and equipped for 4-20 mA level feedback. This panel manages the operation of dual-pump configurations using a three-phase power supply of 400 Vac at 50 Hz. The unit maintains consistent flow, pressure, or level based on real-time feedback from connected analog transducers and digital switches.

To maintain system efficiency, this panel incorporates advanced PID control parameters that adjust pump speed in response to system feedback. Staggered pump starting and stopping sequences are programmatically executed to prevent electrical current surges and mechanical water hammer. Run hours are balanced across all available drives through built-in duty alternation and automatic sharing protocols.

A 7-inch touchscreen HMI and Setup Wizard simplify system commissioning. Users can monitor real-time power and water usage graphs, historical trend plots, and system event logs directly from the screen.

Din rail mounted terminals are provided for dual 4–20 mA inputs for level, pressure or temperature transducers, plus up to five 24 Vdc digital inputs. Standard RCD protection is not recommended because VSD EMC filtering can cause nuisance tripping. If RCD protection is required, Type B RCDs must be used with consideration of VSD earth leakage current.
