Where valve spacing is fixed at 180 mm, the Grundfos Alpha2 25-60N 180 provides the same self-adjusting performance as its shorter sibling in a longer body. It is aimed at domestic hot water installations with wider pipe centres, replacing existing 180 mm units without requiring pipework modification.
Peak output reaches 32.3 L/Min against a maximum head of 6 m, drawn from a 34 W electronically commutated motor with current consumption varying automatically between 0.04 A and 0.32 A as the AUTOADAPT function tracks real-time system demand. Supply is 1 x 240 V, and the pump carries the same 0.17 Energy Efficiency Index rating as the 130 mm version.
Speed adjustment happens continuously rather than through fixed steps, meaning the pump settles at whatever output the loop actually requires. An automatic reduced night-time duty function further lowers consumption during overnight low-flow periods based on detected demand, rather than a preset timer.
Stainless steel wetted components and a composite impeller support potable hot water use across a 2°C to 110°C liquid temperature range, with maximum system pressure rated to 10 bar. The 180 mm port-to-port length and 1 1/2 inch connections, combined with an IPX4D enclosure, make it a straightforward replacement for longer-body installations.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
