Product Overview

Combining 2-inch threaded ports with variable-speed control, the Grundfos MAGNA1 32-60 circulator pump serves ground-source heat pump circuits, underfloor manifold systems, and radiator zones. Its integrated inverter continuously optimizes pump speed based on circuit demand.

The casing is cast from EN-GJL-200 iron with a 180 mm port-to-port dimension, housing a precision composite impeller and canned rotor assembly. Rated for 10 bar system pressure, the pump operates across liquid temperatures from -10°C to 110°C, weighing 4.61 kg.

A 1-phase 230-240 V ECM motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 9 W to 111 W with electrical input power (P1) operating from 9 W to a peak of 111 W at 0.90 A maximum current. Output metrics yield a flow rate of 4.79 m³/h (80 L/Min) with a maximum head of 6 m through 2 inch threaded pipe ports.

The push-button control panel provides quick selection of nine operational modes covering proportional pressure, constant pressure, and fixed speed curves. The unit holds an EEI rating of 0.20, IPX4D ingress protection, Class F insulation, and an integrated fault signal relay.

FEATURES

  • Electronically commutated motor achieves an Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of 0.20
  • Nine control modes adapt output for radiator heating and underfloor circuits
  • Self-adjusting power consumption ranges from 9 W to 111 W according to system load
  • Cast iron EN-GJL-200 housing built for 10 bar maximum system pressure
  • Composite impeller construction resists chemical corrosion in glycol mixtures
  • External digital start/stop input and fault alarm relay output for automation
  • 180 mm port-to-port dimension with 2 inch external threaded connections
