Product Overview
Providing high-head hydraulic output in a 40 mm bore, the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-120 F circulator pump meets the requirements of district heating transfer loops, secondary chiller headers, and tall building risers. Its integrated inverter continuously adapts motor rpm to changing thermal loads.
An EN-GJL-200 cast iron pump body with a 250 mm port-to-port dimension encloses a composite impeller and maintenance-free canned rotor. Built for 10 bar operational pressure, it handles circulating temperatures between -10°C to 110°C, with a total net weight of 16 kg.
The single-phase 230-240 V ECM motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 15 W to 463 W with electrical input power (P1) operating from 15 W up to a peak of 463 W at 2.05 A maximum current. Peak hydraulic output reaches a flow rate of 14.35 m³/h (239 L/Min) and a maximum head of 12 m across DN 40 DIN flanged connections.
Nine control modes provide proportional pressure, constant pressure, and fixed speed operation with single-button adjustment. The unit delivers an EEI rating of 0.19, features Class F insulation with an IPX4D enclosure, and incorporates digital run and fault relay terminals.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
