The highest-head circulator in the MAGNA1 40 mm lineup, the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-180 F is specified for demanding high-rise commercial heating risers, district energy transfer stations, and industrial hydronic circuits. It delivers high discharge pressure while modulating motor speed to minimize power consumption.
The casing is cast from EN-GJL-200 iron with a 250 mm port-to-port dimension, housing an engineered composite impeller, stainless rotor can, and air-cooled electronic power module. Rated for 10 bar working pressure, it handles fluid temperatures from -10°C to 110°C, weighing 16 kg.
Operating on a 1-phase 230-240 V supply, the ECM motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 16 W to 615 W while electrical input power (P1) consumes between 16 W and 615 W with a maximum current of 2.71 A. Hydraulic delivery achieves a flow rate of 15.76 m³/h (263 L/Min) with a maximum head of 18 m through DN 40 DIN flanged connections.
Control options encompass three proportional pressure curves, three constant pressure curves, and three constant speed steps. The pump meets an EEI rating of 0.18, provides Class F winding insulation inside an IPX4D housing, and includes digital input and fault relay contacts.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.

- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
