Product Overview
Combining 40 mm flanged connections with high-flow variable speed regulation, the Grundfos MAGNA1 40-80 F circulator pump serves secondary chiller loops, commercial heating headers, and plate heat exchangers. Its internal inverter continuously balances pump output against circuit valve modulation.
A heavy EN-GJL-200 cast iron pump body with a 220 mm face-to-face length houses a precision composite impeller and maintenance-free canned rotor. Built for 10 bar working pressure, it accommodates fluid temperatures from -10°C to 110°C, with a total net weight of 16.3 kg.
The 1 x 230-240 V 50/60 Hz permanent magnet motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 17 W to 267 W while electrical input power (P1) draws between 17 W and 267 W with a maximum current of 1.18 A. Hydraulic output produces a calculated flow rate of 11.44 m³/h (191 L/Min) against a maximum head of 5.008 m through DN 40 DIN flanged connections.
Nine selectable control settings include proportional pressure, constant pressure, and fixed constant curve speeds. The unit achieves an Energy Efficiency Index (EEI) of 0.19, features Class F insulation with an IPX4D enclosure, and includes digital run/stop and fault relay terminals.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
