Product Overview

The NB 32-125.1/121 single-stage end-suction pump operates on a 415 V three-phase supply rated at 1.5 kW drive power. Built with an axial inlet port (DN 50) and top radial outlet port (DN 32), the unit connects into commercial hydronic heating networks, cooling tower water loops, and facility fluid transfer lines.

Under full duty load, the pump generates 325 L/Min rated flow capacity and reaches a maximum head threshold of 15.41 m. The heavy volute housing uses electrocoated cast iron to resist internal corrosion. A stainless steel impeller rotor assembly with bronze wear rings drives fluid transfer. Net product weight equals 45 kg.

Drive power on the NB 32-125.1/121 pump comes from a 1.5 kW electric motor operating on a 415 V three-phase electrical connection. Full-load running current measures 5.49 Amps. The pump processes liquid media over temperatures from -25°C to 120°C under line pressures up to 16 bar. Pipe connections use DN 50 suction and DN 32 discharge flanges.

Built with an IP55 rated motor enclosure and Class F insulation, the NB 32-125.1/121 electric motor incorporates internal PTC thermistor sensors against overheating. Servicing is simplified by the back-pull-out structural layout, enabling complete rotor and drive removal without disconnecting suction or discharge pipe joints.

Features

  • All stainless steel shaft construction provides improved corrosion resistance compared to carbon steel alternatives in wetted service areas.
  • Mechanical shaft seal can be replaced without removing the impeller, system piping, pump volute casing or drive motor from the installation.
  • Housing, impeller and wear ring use dissimilar material pairings to prevent galling and ensure no sticking elements during extended standby periods.
  • High-efficiency motor selection is configured to match the specific power supply characteristics, pumping environment and liquid properties of each installation.
  • Back pull-out design allows complete rotating assembly removal including motor, coupling and impeller without disturbing pump housing or connected pipework.
  • EN733 and ISO2858 dimensional compliance ensures interchangeability with other standard end-suction pumps across commercial and industrial installations.
  • ATEX Zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 certification available for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres (except E-model variants).

Across floor-mounted distribution pipework, how much volumetric throughput does this pump sustain?

Across floor-mounted distribution pipework, Grundfos NB 32-125.1/121 circulates an operational volume of approximately 325 L/Min.

How does the foot-mounted cast iron casing resist mechanical stresses transmitted from pipework?

Mechanical line rigidity in NB 32-125.1/121 is delivered by a foot-supported cast iron casing alongside a precision-cast bronze impeller.

How much electrical power in kilowatts and running current does this end-suction motor consume?

The heavy induction motor of NB-32-125.1-121 delivers 1.5 kW of shaft power, requiring a three-phase 415 V supply pulling 5.49 Amps.

Across primary boiler plant headers, what fluid temperature limits and working pressure apply?

Accommodating demanding temperature cycles from -25°C to 120°C, NB 32 125.1 121 maintains seal integrity under working pressures to 16 bar.

Across baseplate-mounted distribution lines, what dynamic pressure head does this unit develop?

Discharging fluid through end-suction volute geometry, NB/32/125.1/121 sustains a peak dynamic head of approximately 15.41 m.
