Product Overview
Commercial fluid circulation duties in hydronic heating plants and industrial process loops are handled by the NB 32-125/115 end-suction centrifugal pump. Equipped with a 1.5 kW motor drive, the unit features standardized DN 50 axial inlet and DN 32 radial outlet flanged pipe connections.
Liquid circulation capacity reaches a rated flow volume of 375 L/Min while generating 12.76 m maximum head limit. The casing body is cast in EN-GJL-250 iron with electrocoated protective finish. Fluid movement is driven by a stainless steel impeller with BQQE mechanical shaft seal. Net product weight measures 45 kg.
A 1.5 kW drive motor powers the NB 32-125/115 unit from a 415 V three-phase electrical source, drawing 5.49 Amps nominal current. Working fluid limits handle liquid temperatures from -25°C to 120°C under line pressure ratings up to 16 bar. Standard DN 50 inlet and DN 32 outlet flanged connections support mounting.
Protective features on the NB 32-125/115 pump include an IP55 motor enclosure, Class F winding insulation, and internal PTC thermistor monitoring. The back-pull-out design allows complete drive and impeller extraction without disturbing connected suction or discharge pipework flanges in plant rooms.
Features
- High-efficiency motor selection is configured to match the specific power supply characteristics, pumping environment and liquid properties of each installation.
- Back pull-out design allows complete rotating assembly removal including motor, coupling and impeller without disturbing pump housing or connected pipework.
- EN733 and ISO2858 dimensional compliance ensures interchangeability with other standard end-suction pumps across commercial and industrial installations.
- ATEX Zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 certification available for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres (except E-model variants).
- Integrally cast suction and discharge ports with dedicated vent and drain ports provide direct connection points without additional fittings.
- No baseplate or grouting required to maintain correct shaft alignment and vibration levels within Hydraulic Institute standards.
- Cataphoretic electrocoating on cast iron internal surfaces provides barrier protection against oxidative corrosion in hydronic circulation loops.

To maintain mechanical seal integrity, what thermal operating span and pressure are permissible?
Physical containment in Grundfos NB 32-125/115 reliably manages circulating fluids across -25°C to 120°C under pipeline pressures up to 16 bar.
Across primary boiler plant loops, how much dynamic discharge lift is delivered by this pump?
Across primary boiler plant loops, NB 32-125/115 develops an operational elevation column of approximately 12.76 m.
Under unrestricted suction conditions, what maximum volumetric flow does this pump provide?
Under unrestricted suction conditions, NB-32-125-115 achieves a maximum volumetric flow of approximately 375 L/Min.
What casing grade and internal impeller materials are engineered into this baseplate unit?
Floor-mounted stability is established in NB 32 125 115 by a heavy cast iron housing equipped with a durable stainless steel impeller.
To drive this heavy baseplate assembly, what supply voltage, motor wattage, and current are needed?
Energy delivery to NB/32/125/115 relies on an electric motor rated at 1.5 kW connected to a three-phase 415 V line at 5.49 Amps.
