Product Overview

The NB 40-315/336 end-suction centrifugal pump incorporates a 45 kW electric drive motor connected to DN 65 suction and DN 40 discharge flanged piping joints. Designed for continuous building service duty, the unit handles clean fluid movement across commercial plant installations.

Hydraulic rating calculations confirm a flow capacity of 784 L/Min at a maximum head threshold of 135.5 m. The volute housing is constructed from cataphoresis treated cast iron. Rotor hydraulics feature a stainless steel impeller supported by bronze wear rings. Total net weight measures 526 kg.

Motor electrical configuration on the NB 40-315/336 pump requires a 415 V three-phase connection rated at 45 kW output power. Operating current measures 79.7 Amps at nominal speed. Liquid temperature ranges extend from -25°C to 120°C under 16 bar pressure. Connection is made via DN 65 inlet and DN 40 outlet flanges.

Motor security on the NB 40-315/336 end-suction pump features an IP55 rated housing, Class F thermal insulation, and PTC thermistor winding relays. The back-pull-out structural geometry permits technicians to remove the motor drive and rotor without dismantling connected suction or discharge pipe headers.

Features

  • Housing, impeller and wear ring use dissimilar material pairings to prevent galling and ensure no sticking elements during extended standby periods.
  • High-efficiency motor selection is configured to match the specific power supply characteristics, pumping environment and liquid properties of each installation.
  • Back pull-out design allows complete rotating assembly removal including motor, coupling and impeller without disturbing pump housing or connected pipework.
  • EN733 and ISO2858 dimensional compliance ensures interchangeability with other standard end-suction pumps across commercial and industrial installations.
  • ATEX Zone 1, 2, 21 or 22 certification available for operation in potentially explosive atmospheres (except E-model variants).
  • Integrally cast suction and discharge ports with dedicated vent and drain ports provide direct connection points without additional fittings.
  • No baseplate or grouting required to maintain correct shaft alignment and vibration levels within Hydraulic Institute standards.
