Product Overview

Constructed for fixed foundation mounting in mechanical rooms, the NB 50-200/210 single-stage end-suction pump connects via DN 65 suction and DN 50 discharge ports. A 18.5 kW electric motor provides mechanical power for continuous water circulation across building service headers.

Fluid output parameters show a rated throughput of 1479 L/Min and a maximum head limit of 52.8 m. Electrocoating treatment on the cast iron casing limits rust in hydronic loops. The internal rotor holds a stainless steel impeller with bronze wear rings. Unit physical weight is 174 kg.

Operating on a 415 V three-phase power supply, the NB 50-200/210 electric motor yields 18.5 kW output power with a current draw of 35.3 Amps. Media temperature capabilities span from -25°C to 120°C under continuous line pressures up to 16 bar. Flanged ports feature DN 65 suction and DN 50 discharge sizing.

Winding insulation on the NB 50-200/210 motor complies with Class F standards within an IP55 dust and spray resistant motor housing equipped with PTC thermistors. Service procedures benefit from back-pull-out construction, permitting internal rotor disassembly without disconnecting main system pipework headers.

Features

  • Cataphoretic electrocoating on cast iron internal surfaces provides barrier protection against oxidative corrosion in hydronic circulation loops.
  • Close-coupled configuration eliminates coupling alignment procedures and reduces overall installation footprint compared to long-coupled alternatives.
  • Ball bearing support arrangement accommodates both radial and axial thrust loads generated during continuous duty operation at rated speed.
  • PN16 flanged connection ratings on sizes up to and including DN 150 provide elevated working pressure capability beyond standard EN733 10 bar ratings.
  • O-ring seal between pump housing and cover eliminates leakage risk at the volute-to-cover joint under sustained operating pressures.
  • Optimised impeller and volute hydraulics deliver unimpeded liquid flow through the pump casing, reducing internal turbulence losses.
  • All stainless steel shaft construction provides improved corrosion resistance compared to carbon steel alternatives in wetted service areas.

How much electrical wattage does this large motor consume under full operating current?

Electrical parameters for Grundfos NB 50-200/210 list a 18.5 kW drive powered by a three-phase 415 V electrical circuit pulling 35.3 Amps.

Against high pipeline pressure, what media temperature spectrum and peak working threshold are certified?

Thermal performance certified for NB 50-200/210 permits non-stop circulation with fluids between -25°C to 120°C at pressures to 10 bar.

Across primary district transmission loops, how much vertical pressure height is sustained?

Operating with axial suction and radial discharge geometry, NB-50-200-210 delivers a maximum dynamic head of approximately 52.8 m.

Moving pressurized water through trunk pipelines, what peak volume throughput is attained?

Supplying heavy fluid throughput to transmission loops, NB 50 200 210 delivers an operational discharge of approximately 1479 L/Min.

What protective finishing and closed impeller engineering give this pump its structural toughness?

High torsional strength is built into NB/50/200/210 through an EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute alongside a precision-cast bronze impeller.
