Product Overview

The NB 50-200/219 end-suction centrifugal pump incorporates a 22 kW electric drive motor connected to DN 65 suction and DN 50 discharge flanged piping joints. Designed for continuous building service duty, the unit handles clean fluid movement across commercial plant installations.

Hydraulic rating calculations confirm a flow capacity of 1560 L/Min at a maximum head threshold of 58.26 m. The volute housing is constructed from cataphoresis treated cast iron. Rotor hydraulics feature a stainless steel impeller supported by bronze wear rings. Total net weight measures 214 kg.

Motor electrical configuration on the NB 50-200/219 pump requires a 415 V three-phase connection rated at 22 kW output power. Operating current measures 40.8 Amps at nominal speed. Liquid temperature ranges extend from -25°C to 120°C under 16 bar pressure. Connection is made via DN 65 inlet and DN 50 outlet flanges.

Motor security on the NB 50-200/219 end-suction pump features an IP55 rated housing, Class F thermal insulation, and PTC thermistor winding relays. The back-pull-out structural geometry permits technicians to remove the motor drive and rotor without dismantling connected suction or discharge pipe headers.

Features

  • Ball bearing support arrangement accommodates both radial and axial thrust loads generated during continuous duty operation at rated speed.
  • PN16 flanged connection ratings on sizes up to and including DN 150 provide elevated working pressure capability beyond standard EN733 10 bar ratings.
  • O-ring seal between pump housing and cover eliminates leakage risk at the volute-to-cover joint under sustained operating pressures.
  • Optimised impeller and volute hydraulics deliver unimpeded liquid flow through the pump casing, reducing internal turbulence losses.
  • All stainless steel shaft construction provides improved corrosion resistance compared to carbon steel alternatives in wetted service areas.
  • Mechanical shaft seal can be replaced without removing the impeller, system piping, pump volute casing or drive motor from the installation.
  • Housing, impeller and wear ring use dissimilar material pairings to prevent galling and ensure no sticking elements during extended standby periods.

In central mechanical rooms, how does this heavy pump endure elevated liquid temperatures and pressures?

Physical containment in Grundfos NB 50-200/219 reliably manages circulating fluids across -25°C to 120°C under pipeline pressures up to 10 bar.

Operating against severe piping hydraulic resistance, what maximum dynamic elevation is produced?

Across heavy-duty boiler plant headers, NB 50-200/219 develops an operational elevation column of approximately 58.26 m.

With robust centrifugal runner geometry, how many liters of water can this unit displace?

Under unrestricted suction conditions, NB-50-200-219 achieves a maximum volumetric flow of approximately 1560 L/Min.

Under intense velocity profiles, which structural materials provide lasting reliability on site?

The physical build of NB 50 200 219 combines an electrocoated cast iron casing with a precision-cast bronze impeller.

Which motor kilowatt output, supply voltage, and operational current draw run this heavy pump?

Running current for NB/50/200/219 is certified at 40.8 Amps across a three-phase 415 V line to power its 22 kW electric motor.
