Product Overview
With a maximum head of 57.5 m and flow capacity of 6600 L/min, the Grundfos S1.80.125.400.4.62H.C.374.G.N.D.513GPA submersible sewage pump is suited to wastewater, process water and unscreened raw sewage transfer. The Variant C cooling jacket enables continuous submerged operation at depths up to 20 m in municipal collection and industrial effluent applications.
Power comes from a 43 kW motor (P2) operating at 1464 rpm from a 415 V three-phase supply, drawing 86 A with 89% efficiency at both full and 3/4 load. The 374 mm impeller delivers the specified head and flow characteristics, with DN125 outlet and DN80 inlet connections carrying a PN10 pressure rating.
Hydraulic performance is achieved through a 1-channel cast iron impeller with 80 mm free passage, with the impeller diameter and channel configuration matched to the H lifting height class requirements of this Range 62 model. The single-channel design provides stable hydraulic behaviour across the operating range.
Cast iron construction with IP68 enclosure and Class F insulation provides submerged durability, while the primary silicon carbide and secondary silicon carbide-carbon shaft seals prevent liquid ingress. Integrated moisture sensors are fitted as standard, with the pump supplied on 15 m of H07RN-F AT cable and supporting Star/Delta starting.
FEATURES
- Range 62 Motor Design: The motor frame incorporates standardized external and internal dimensions, cooling system configuration, shaft seal arrangement and bearing specification common to all pumps in the Range 62 series.
- 1-Channel Cast Iron Impeller: The single-channel impeller design provides stable hydraulic performance across the operating range while maintaining efficient solids handling capability for municipal wastewater applications.
- 80 mm Free Passage: The internal clearance through the impeller and volute allows solids and unscreened sewage particulates to pass without blocking the hydraulic flow path during operation.
- DN125 / DN80 Connection: The outlet connection is sized at DN125 with a PN10 pressure rating, while the inlet connection is DN80, matching the hydraulic design requirements of this configuration.
- Variant C Cooling Jacket: The integrated cooling jacket surrounds the motor stator to dissipate heat during continuous submerged operation, maintaining stable motor temperatures in wet well installations.
- IP68 Enclosure Protection: The motor housing is fully sealed against permanent submersion, with the IP68 rating confirming suitability for continuous operation at depths up to 20 m.
- Silicon Carbide Shaft Seals: The primary shaft seal uses silicon carbide faces while the secondary seal employs a silicon carbide-carbon combination, providing two-stage protection against liquid ingress into the motor compartment.
- Integrated Moisture Sensors: Sensors are fitted within the motor housing to detect the presence of moisture, providing early indication of potential seal degradation or liquid ingress during service.

How much electrical motor power in kilowatts and what operating current are required here?
Motor drive parameters on the S1.80.125.400.4.62H.C.374 require 415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase to power an electric motor rated at 43 kW with a current draw of 86 A.
Regarding submerged basin service, what installation depth and permissible liquid temperature apply?
Installed in wet well pump pits, the Grundfos S1.80.125.400.4.62H.C.374 tolerates submerged depths reaching up to approximately 20 m in process liquids up to 40°C.
Which dynamic head elevation capability is developed by this submersible sewage unit?
Elevating wastewater across municipal risers, the S1-80-125-400-4-62H-C-374 provides a peak dynamic head of approximately 57.5 m.
Across heavy effluent lines, what maximum delivery flow and discharge sizing apply to this unit?
Fluid delivery volume reaches a peak flow capacity of approximately 6600 L/Min on the S1 80 125 400 4 62H C 374, connecting through a DN 125 (standard flanged connection).
Which casing metallurgy, alloy material, and solid size threshold are engineered into this pump?
Solids handling on the S1.80.125.400.4.62H.C.374.G.N.D.513GPA is governed by a non-clogging channel impeller and Cast iron housing and wetted components, facilitating free passage of particulate up to 80 mm.
