Product Overview
Highlighting extended continuous circulation capacities, this pump is natively designed for handling wastewater, process water, unscreened raw sewage, municipal, domestic and industrial applications. The S3.120.600.650.8.70E.C.459.G.N.D.513GPA unit is strictly suitable for submerged physical installation setups utilizing the active 96782486 auto coupling interface connection base to establish deep continuous fluid transfer capabilities. The cooling jacket provides superior thermal management in submerged and dry installations.
Constructed from solid Ductile cast iron EN 1563 EN-GJS-500-7, the physical outer housing surrounds central dynamic components. The 3-channel impeller, measuring exactly 452 mm in overall diameter, effectively processes suspended physical solids up to 120 mm in size. The internal core motor casing is manufactured from Cast iron EN 1561 EN-GJL-250. The mechanical unit weighs 2140 kg and operates strictly in Newtonian liquids up to 40°C.
The 65 kW electrical motor works on a three-phase 415v continuous power supply, operating with a designated steady continuous current of 116 Amps. The heavy industrial unit achieves a maximum head of 9.3 meters and a maximum flow volume of 57000 L/Min running directly through a DN 600 mm discharge outlet. The continuous operating power input P1 is specified directly at 70 kW, running alongside an electrical starting current rated exactly at 706 Amps.
System thermal safety is strictly provided by Class F internal motor insulation combined with a rated IP68 physical enclosure parameter. The extensive hardware fully supports continuous vertical physical installation depths reaching up to 20 meters. Primary SIC mechanical seals and secondary SIC-CARBON shaft seals precisely provide constant internal fluid containment. The operational architecture incorporates an 8-pole motor matched with a Y/D starting mechanism. The cooling jacket enables flexible installation configurations.
Features
- Features lifting height class E standard dimension specification for operation

What electrical motor power specifications and supply voltage current feed power this unit?
Operating on commercial three-phase service, the S3.120.600.650.8.70E.C.459 features an electric motor rated at 65 kW drawing 116 A on 415 V, 50 Hz, three-phase.
What maximum operational submergence depth and fluid temperature threshold govern this pump?
Operating under complete liquid immersion, the Grundfos S3.120.600.650.8.70E.C.459 tolerates installation depths extending up to approximately 20 m in effluent up to 40°C.
What maximum dynamic head specification governs the fluid elevation on this submerged pump?
Elevating wastewater across treatment collection stations, the S3-120-600-650-8-70E-C-459 achieves a maximum dynamic head of approximately 9.3 m.
What maximum volumetric flow rate is delivered through the discharge flange of this pump?
Municipal fluid transfer across processing loops relies on the S3 120 600 650 8 70E C 459 discharging a peak delivery flow rate of approximately 57000 L/Min via a DN 600 (standard flanged connection).
What casing material, alloy construction, and spherical solids passage govern this sewage unit?
Hydraulic integrity on the S3.120.600.650.8.70E.C.459.G.N.D.513GPA is preserved through Ductile Cast Iron housing and wetted components enclosing a specialized 3-channel impeller supporting debris up to 120 mm.
