Product Overview
The TP 80-250/2 inline centrifugal pump incorporates a bronze impeller fitted to a sleeve coupling mechanism. Operating parameters deliver 1493 L/Min rated flow and 25 m maximum head through DN 80 flanged connections across heating loops.
Constructed with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing, the housing body features cataphoresis electrocoating surface treatment for internal corrosion protection. The internal hydraulic assembly contains a precision bronze impeller fitted with bronze wear rings and a maintenance-free mechanical shaft seal. Net product weight measures 112 kg for fixed mounting placement in mechanical plant rooms.
The motor operates on a 415 V three-phase supply rated at 14.4 Amps nominal operating current. Operating liquid temperatures span from -25°C to 120°C under maximum working pressures up to 16 bar. In-line opposite port geometry with DN 80 flanged connections enables mounting directly into straight pipework lines or onto foundation bases.
Motor protection features an IP55 enclosure rating with Class F thermal insulation and integrated PTC thermistors. Top-pull-out structural design enables removal of the motor head and impeller assembly without dismantling the pump housing from connected system pipework lines during scheduled servicing routines.

Displacing fluid through large flanged connections, what peak flow volume can this unit sustain?
Under unrestricted flow conditions, Grundfos TP 80-250/2 achieves a maximum volumetric discharge rate of approximately 1493 L/Min.
How are the cast volute and internal impeller engineered to withstand prolonged fluid wear?
High physical rigidity in TP 80-250/2 is established by an EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute alongside a precision-cast bronze impeller.
Under full rated motor output, what kilowatt rating, line voltage, and current are required?
Driven by an induction motor rated at 7.5 kW, TP-80-250-2 operates on a three-phase 415 V electrical feed pulling 14.4 Amps.
Which fluid temperature limits and working pressure capabilities are engineered into this pump?
Thermal operating limits certified for TP 80 250 2 safely span -25°C to 120°C under a maximum system working pressure of 16 bar.
Overcoming friction across building trunk lines, what vertical pressure column is generated?
Discharging pressurized water into distribution trunk lines, TP/80/250/2 sustains a peak dynamic head of approximately 25 m.
