Product Overview

Constructed for long-term liquid circulation, the TP 80-330/2 inline pump casing undergoes cataphoresis treatment to limit internal surface corrosion. The unit processes fluid temperatures from -25°C to 120°C under line pressures up to 16 bar with high mechanical integrity.

Constructed with an EN-GJL-250 cast iron casing, the housing body features cataphoresis electrocoating surface treatment for internal corrosion protection. The internal hydraulic assembly contains a precision bronze impeller fitted with bronze wear rings and a maintenance-free mechanical shaft seal. Net product weight measures 155 kg for fixed mounting placement in mechanical plant rooms.

The motor operates on a 415 V three-phase supply rated at 20.8 Amps nominal operating current. Operating liquid temperatures span from -25°C to 120°C under maximum working pressures up to 16 bar. In-line opposite port geometry with DN 80 flanged connections enables mounting directly into straight pipework lines or onto foundation bases.

Motor protection features an IP55 enclosure rating with Class F thermal insulation and integrated PTC thermistors. Top-pull-out structural design enables removal of the motor head and impeller assembly without dismantling the pump housing from connected system pipework lines during scheduled servicing routines.

Which robust materials of construction are selected for the wet end of this heavy circulator?

To resist hydrodynamic wear across plant headers, Grundfos TP 80-330/2 pairs an electrocoated cast iron body with a precision-cast bronze impeller.

Which electrical parameters in wattage, operating voltage, and full load amps govern this unit?

Electrical specifications for TP 80-330/2 indicate a 11 kW motor requiring a three-phase 415 V supply with an operational draw of 20.8 Amps.

How extreme can circulating water temperatures become under maximum system line pressure?

Circulating media temperatures from -25°C to 120°C are fully accommodated by TP-80-330-2 with pressure retention up to 16 bar.

To support elevated multi-zone heating headers, what peak delivery lift can be achieved?

To overcome pipeline friction across multi-story risers, TP 80 330 2 provides a rated dynamic lift of approximately 33 m.

In primary transmission trunk lines, how many liters of liquid can this heavy circulator move?

Volumetric liquid throughput certified for TP/80/330/2 reaches an operational maximum of approximately 1700 L/Min.
