Product Overview

Built for continuous duty in hydronic climate control networks and facility water loops, the TPE3 32-250 inline centrifugal pump combines a 1.1 kW electric motor with close-coupled in-line architecture. Suction and discharge connections feature identical DN 32 porting, enabling direct drop-in placement within mechanical room pipe headers.

The hydraulic wet-end is engineered for optimal fluid dynamics, delivering 298 L/Min rated flow volume and reaching a maximum head capacity of 14.9 m. Cast iron housing materials (EN-GJL-250) provide reliable pressure containment under continuous duty cycles. A Composite impeller and BQQE seal drive liquid media across wetted passages. Net product weight measures 34.9 kg.

Configured for 3 x 380-500 V Three-phase power lines, the 1.1 kW drive motor draws 2.2 Amps during nominal full-load duty. Thermal operational limits support fluid handling from -25°C to 120°C across commercial hydronic networks. Connection to plant room headers relies on inline DN 32 suction and DN 32 discharge flanges.

Winding insulation complies with Class F standards within an IP55 rated motor enclosure designed for demanding plant room environments. Equipped with an onboard frequency converter and PI controller, the pump modulates motor RPM dynamically for maximum energy efficiency. Top-pull-out casing construction enables service personnel to extract drive components without disconnecting suction or discharge flanges.

Features

  • EN-GJL-250 cast iron volute housing provides robust pressure containment up to 16 bar in demanding hydronic circulation loops.
  • Corrosion-resistant Composite impeller rotor is precision-balanced to minimize operational vibration and extend bearing lifecycle.
  • Standardized DN 32 flanged connections comply with EN 1092-2 for seamless drop-in integration into commercial pipe headers.
  • Maintenance-free BQQE mechanical shaft seal prevents fluid leakage and maintains seal integrity under elevated working pressures.
  • IP55 motor enclosure protection guards internal electrical components against ambient dust accumulation and water splash ingress.
  • Class F thermal motor insulation permits continuous operation under elevated fluid temperatures ranging from -25°C to 120°C.
  • Equal suction and discharge port diameters enable straightforward inline installation without requiring custom pipe reducer spools.

What electrical power consumption, operating voltage, and current draw govern this smart pump?

The electronically regulated drive in Grundfos TPE3 32-250 provides 1.1 kW of power, requiring a three-phase 415 V supply and drawing 2.2 Amps.

What fluid temperature thresholds and maximum operating pressure apply to this variable unit?

Operating across secondary heating and cooling loops, TPE3 32-250 safely circulates media from -25°C to 120°C at pressures to 16 bar.

Modulating motor speed to match loop resistance, what vertical elevation can this unit achieve?

Electronic frequency modulation allows TPE3-32-250 to sustain a peak dynamic head of approximately 14.9 m.

Adjusting flow delivery to zone demand, how many liters per minute can this pump displace?

Adjusting fluid throughput to meet real-time demand, TPE3 32 250 achieves a peak delivery rate of approximately 298 L/Min.

What casing metallurgy and precision impeller composition are built into this variable circulator?

Mechanical integrity across variable speed cycles is provided in TPE3/32/250 by a cast iron shell and an engineered composite impeller (PES-GF30).
