Product Overview
Closed-loop radiator heating systems do not carry potable water, so cast iron becomes a suitable housing material. The Grundfos UPS 25-60 is built with a cast iron pump body for those systems, positioned for standard domestic heating circuits where the circulating fluid stays within the sealed system.
At its highest speed setting, the pump delivers 31.7 L/Min against a maximum head of 6 m, powered by a 70 W motor drawing 0.3 A on a 1 x 240 V supply. Three selectable speeds step power from 50 W upward, giving installers the flexibility to balance the circuit against the actual radiator count and pipe run without oversizing the pump.
The canned rotor motor construction removes the need for a mechanical shaft seal, with the rotor and bearings lubricated directly by the circulating heating water. Liquid temperature tolerance extends from 2°C to 110°C, covering both standard radiator circuits and higher-temperature boiler setups.
An IP44 enclosure suits undercover fitting in a plant room or airing cupboard, and the compact 130 mm port-to-port body matches tighter pipe centres than the 180 mm variant. Maximum system pressure is rated to 10 bar, consistent with typical domestic heating installations.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
