Product Overview

Large heating networks combine both high resistance and high volume, requiring a pump that can deliver both. The Grundfos UPS 32-100 meets that demand by pairing the widest bore in the cast iron UPS range with its tallest head rating, suited to commercial risers, district-style heating loops, and extensive multi-zone residential systems.

At full speed the pump delivers 113.8 L/Min against a maximum head of 10 m, with three speed settings stepping power from 280 W to 345 W and current reaching 1.52 A on a 1 x 240 V supply. The 2 inch connection reduces flow velocity and associated resistance compared with the narrower-bore UPS 25-100 at equivalent volumes.

Canned rotor construction runs through the model, with bearings lubricated by the circulating heating water rather than a mechanical seal. Liquid temperature tolerance extends from -25°C to 110°C, and the cast iron housing is intended for closed-loop heating rather than potable circuits.

Class H insulation and an IPX4D enclosure reflect the higher thermal and ingress protection demands of running at 345 W continuously. At 180 mm port-to-port, the pump matches the physical footprint of the 1 1/2 inch UPS 25-100, allowing bore size to be increased during a system upgrade without altering pump spacing.

FEATURES

  • Larger 2 inch connections reduce flow velocity and associated resistance at equivalent volumes
  • Head rating of 10 m provides pressure capability for commercial risers, district-style heating loops, and extensive multi-zone residential systems
  • Three-speed selector permits commissioning engineers to match output to actual system requirements
  • Canned rotor design with self-lubricating bearings eliminates the mechanical shaft seal
  • Class H insulation (180°C) supports continuous operation at full 345 W load
  • IPX4D enclosure rating provides ingress protection against splashing water and dust
  • Cast iron housing specified for closed-loop heating applications where potable water approval is not required
  • 180 mm port-to-port body dimension matches the footprint of the 1 1/2 inch UPS 25-100

What maximum dynamic head and vertical lift does this commercial circulator pump produce?

Operating against substantial hydronic network resistance, the UPS 32-100 sustains a peak dynamic head rating of approximately 10 m.

What maximum circulating flow volume does this commercial heating circulator deliver through its pipe ports?

Plumbed into multi-zone distribution headers using 180 mm port-to-port 2 inch connections, the Grundfos UPS 32-100 delivers a peak circulating flow volume of approximately 113 L/Min.

How does the commercial cast iron housing material construction support demanding hydronic installations?

Structural defense across large hydronic networks is maintained on the UPS-32-100 via premium Cast Iron housing metallurgy.

How much electrical current in amps and motor power in kilowatt rating run this commercial heating pump?

Commercial hydronic electrical duty on the Grundfos UPS 32 100 is powered by a motor rated at 0.35 kW (350 W) on 240 V drawing a rated current of 1.52 Amps.

What maximum working pressure in bar and water temperature limits govern this heavy heating circulator?

District-style heating boundaries allow the UPS_32_100 to operate at system pressures up to 1 bar with fluid temperatures from '-25°C to 110°C.
