Product Overview
Engineered for high-resistance commercial applications, the Grundfos UPS 50-180 F 415V circulator pump supplies elevated discharge head and high volumetric flow for multi-storey heating and cooling plants. It drives thermal water through tall building risers and dense heat exchanger bundles.
The 280 mm port-to-port casing is manufactured from grade EN-GJL-250 cast iron, holding a corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel impeller and aluminium stator frame. Operating pressure is rated to 10 bar with fluid temperature limits between -10°C and 120°C, and total unit mass is 25 kg.
A 3-phase 400-415 V 50 Hz motor has a maximum power input (P1) of 1000 W (1 kW) at 2.0 A at maximum speed, providing three manual speed positions. Peak hydraulic performance yields a maximum head of 18 m and a flow rate of 18.7 m³/h (312 L/Min) through DN 50 DIN flanged ports.
A sealless canned rotor configuration lubricates its ceramic radial bearings using the circulating fluid, preventing external leakage paths. Class H motor insulation and an IPX4D housing combine with integrated thermal protection contacts for system safety.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
