Product Overview
Biological sewage handling and residential wastewater disposal are the primary functions of the ZEN-DGE50/2/G50HMSIC. Designed specifically for domestic environments, this electric submersible unit provides dependable management of slightly soiled biological liquids and residential wastewaters.
Hydraulic performance of the ZEN-DGE50/2/G50HMSIC is driven by a 0.37kW (0.5hp) single-phase motor operating on a 240V power supply. Under active pumping conditions, the unit achieves a maximum flow rate of 240 L/min and reaches a maximum vertical head of 6 metres at a pressure of 0.6 bar.
Solid handling in the ZEN-DGE50/2/G50HMSIC is managed through an integrated vortex impeller system that accommodates soft particles up to 40mm in diameter. The mechanical layout incorporates a horizontal discharge design using a standard 2" BSPF threaded outlet port for robust connection.
Supplied without a float switch, this ZEN-DGE50/2/G50HMSIC configuration is ideal for systems requiring external control panels or manual activation. Safety and manufacturing standards are backed by a comprehensive 24-month Zenit factory warranty.

What electrical configuration powers this pump during normal operation?
A 0.37 kW motor uses 240 V single-phase supply in DGE50_2_G50HMSIC, with vortex hydraulics and mechanical sealing for submerged service.
How are solids processed before the liquid is discharged?
A set-back vortex impeller in DGE50 2 G50HMSIC moves wastewater containing suspended solids through a 40 mm passage for domestic sewage duties.
Which materials form the casing and rotating shaft?
The casing is Cast Iron EN-GJL 250, and DGE50-2-G50HMSIC pairs it with an AISI 431 stainless steel shaft and mechanical seals.
Which liquids and drainage duties can this model handle?
For domestic sewage and slightly dirty wastewater, DGE50/2/G50HMSIC transfers wastewater from collection sumps and drainage systems across intended service settings.
What are the pump's maximum flow and head ratings?
DGE502G50HMSIC has maximum flow of 240 L/Min and amaximum headrating of 6 m for hydraulic selection.
