Product Overview
Built for reliable municipal pumping station duties, this submersible vortex pump is designed to transfer wastewater and sewage in public infrastructure. It is ideally suited for lifting liquids containing suspended solids and fibrous material in both urban and rural environments. The unit provides consistent service for wastewater treatment plants and professional drainage networks requiring high pumping performance.
Discharge capability is provided by a 3 kW motor configured for 415v, delivering steady liquid movement for municipal-grade transfer. The pump is capable of reaching a maximum vertical head approx 12.3 m and maintains a flow capacity upto 1008 L/Min. These specifications ensure reliable operation in critical pumping infrastructures where high flow and discharge head are required.
The hydraulic configuration utilizes a set-back vortex impeller design which helps reduce the risk of clogging by creating a clear channel for solids to pass through the casing. This hydraulic system is specifically intended for wastewater with high solid concentrations, ensuring that filaments do not wrap around rotating parts. The vortex action maintains stable hydraulic performance while handling unscreened sewage in lifting stations.
Constructed from Cast iron EN-GJL 250, the pump incorporates a stainless steel AISI 431 shaft and double mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). A 200 µm bi-epoxy coating provides a robust barrier against abrasive operating environments, while ATEX certification permits installation in hazardous atmosphere locations.
FEATURES
- Set-back vortex (Type DG) impeller provides a wide free passage for sewage containing suspended solids and biological fibers.
- 2-pole motor with Class H insulation and IP68 protection for reliable long-term service in municipal environments.
- Cast iron EN-GJL 250 casing ensures structural durability in demanding pumping stations.
- High mechanical strength AISI 431 stainless steel shaft for reliable rotational performance.
- Double mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC) provide high-integrity motor protection in a dedicated oil chamber.
