Point-of-use or pre-filtration stages in residential water systems require technical management of sediment and chemical taste in a single unit. This 10 inch cartridge is specified for the reduction of bad taste, odor, and chlorine while functioning as an effective barrier against suspended solids. It is suitable for rainwater tanks, bore water applications, or as a polishing stage for point-of-use distribution systems.

Hydraulic output is rated at a maximum flow of 25 L/Min, achieving a 10 micron nominal filtration level. The media consists of carbon-impregnated non-cellulose material, providing a balance between sediment trapping and chemical absorption. It maintains structural integrity under pressure conditions up to 900 kPa, ensuring a consistent fluid velocity path through the pleated matrix during peak usage.

Internal technology utilizes a pleated media architecture to provide additional surface area for high dirt-holding capacity with minimal pressure drop.
