Product Overview

Large-scale residential, civil, livestock, and industrial environments require pumps that can handle high volumes of fibrous wastewater while maintaining grinding performance. The Zenit GRG 750/2/G50H A0FT5 is a 5.5 kW submersible grinder pump with ATEX Zone 1 certification, featuring a specialised grinding assembly with exceptional mechanical reliability for lifting and grinding wastewater containing filaments or fibres. The unit is designed to operate safely in volatile atmospheres.

Performance specifications include a maximum head of 46.4 metres and a maximum flow of 504 L/Min, powered by a 415V three-phase motor drawing 10.8 Amps. The 5.5 kW motor uses direct starting with 77.8 Amps starting current and produces 18.3 Nm of rated torque. These characteristics suit high-volume, high-head applications requiring effective solids processing.

Hydraulic design incorporates a multi-channel open impeller with grinder system, with the impeller manufactured from Cast Iron EN-GJL 250. The grinder mechanism uses chromium steel cutter and cutting disk (X102 CrMo17 KU) that process all solids and fibrous materials. Free passage is 0 mm as all solids are reduced by the grinding system. Hydraulic efficiency is rated at 44.7%.

Construction consists of a Cast Iron EN-GJL 250 casing with bi-epoxy 200 ?m sea water resistant coating. The shaft is stainless steel AISI 431, and sealing uses two mechanical seals in silicon carbide (2SiC). Motor protection includes Class H insulation, IP68 rating, thermal protection, and a leakage sensor. Cable length is 10 metres with 4G1,5+3x1 configuration, and the unit weighs 60.3 kg. A ZENS9024.006 Ring Stand is required for free-standing operation.
