Product Overview
Refuelling crews working inside bunded compounds and underground tanks move diesel safely on standard single-phase power with this flameproof 1½-inch transfer pump, certified for hazardous atmospheres where ordinary motors are barred. Compliance starts at the motor, not as an accessory. Single-phase hazardous-area refuelling is ordered as GB1.5KQ-A/ATEX1P for 240 V supply.
Open-discharge flow reaches 290 L/min, shutting off at 16 m head (23 PSI), rated on fresh-water viscosity liquids. Heavy-duty cast construction with a replaceable suction cover houses a big open impeller passing 8.5 mm solids, sealed by Viton/carbon/alumina as standard.
Running from a standard 240 V outlet, the 0.75 kW single-phase flameproof motor carries full ATEX certification with IP55 protection for classified air. Light 1½-inch pipework keeps trolley and skid layouts portable, priming from 6 m depths with the wear isolated to a replaceable suction cover.
Diesel and fuel-oil transfer in hazardous environments is the central application, extending to machinery, marine diesel, earth-moving equipment, mining plant and generator refuelling. Waste-oil collection and heating-oil transfer are also listed, covering fixed fuel points as well as mobile service and maintenance work.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
