Underground mines and single-phase depot sheds shift diesel in volume with this 2-inch flameproof transfer pump, delivering up to 440 litres a minute off a 240 V outlet inside hazardous classifications. Big-pipe flow without three-phase infrastructure. Underground and depot shuttle duty specifies GB2KQ-A ATEX240 for single-phase 240 V outlets.
Open flow peaks at 440 L/min, shutting off at 19 m head (27 PSI), measured on fresh-water viscosity liquids. Heavy-duty cast construction with a replaceable suction cover carries a big open impeller that clears 16 mm solids, sealed by Viton/carbon/alumina as standard.
Single-phase 240 V supply is enough for the 1.5 kW flameproof motor, ATEX-certified and IP55-sealed for underground and depot atmospheres. Tote, drum and day-tank stations connect through 2-inch ports that prime unaided from 6 m, shedding wear onto the unbolting suction cover.
The application set covers diesel and fuel-oil transfer in hazardous environments, with machinery, marine diesel, earth movers, mining plant and generator refuelling all included. It is also listed for heating-oil transfer and waste-oil collection at fixed facilities or mobile maintenance locations.

Warranty & Returns
All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
