Product Overview
Bulk fuel installers standardise on this three-phase 2-inch flameproof pump for depot-scale diesel movement, balancing 440 litres a minute across 415 V phases inside classified transfer bays. Continuous-rated flameproof construction suits around-the-clock bowser duty. Depot-scale classified transfer standardises on GB2KQ-A ATEX3P for 415 V bowser bays.
Hydraulics cover 440 L/min open flow to a 19 m (27 PSI) shut-off head on fresh-water viscosity liquids. The heavy-duty cast wet end with renewable suction cover runs a big open impeller for 16 mm solids, with standard Viton/carbon/alumina sealing.
Balanced across 415 V phases, the 1.5 kW ATEX flameproof motor in its IP55 frame suits continuous bowser duty inside classified transfer bays. Suction and discharge manifolds meet at twin 2-inch connections, self-priming from 6 m with the suction cover removable for wear renewal.
Diesel and fuel-oil transfer in hazardous environments is the central application, extending to machinery, marine diesel, earth-moving equipment, mining plant and generator refuelling. Waste-oil collection and heating-oil transfer are also listed, covering fixed fuel points as well as mobile service and maintenance work.

What type of electrical supply is needed to run the drive motor on site to initiate shaft rotation?
Electric power drives the Aussie Pumps ATEX Electric Explosion-Proof B2KQ-A/ATEX (GB2KQ-A-ATEX3P) via a close-coupled unit rated at 1.5 kW 415V 3-Phase, wired into fixed switchboard connections.
How does certified flameproof motor construction eliminate spark ignition risks in vapor zones across petrochemical transfer areas?
Certified flameproof ATEX Ex-d motor construction on the GB2KQ A ATEX3P encloses electrical arcs, enabling safe operation in hazardous fuel and solvent vapor zones.
How do the internal recirculation channels achieve rapid priming from deep excavations across routine site transfer duties?
Automatic priming action on the GB2KQ-A ATEX3P drafts liquid from vertical depths down to 6 m without needing a foot valve.
What particle clearance does the open impeller allow when pumping dirty runoff across demanding site dewatering duties?
The open cast iron impeller on the GB2KQ-A ATEX3P allows spherical solids up to 16 mm in diameter to pass freely without choking internal water passages.
What open discharge throughput and maximum dynamic head are rated when discharging into storage tanks?
At peak operational capacity, the wet end of the B2KQ-A/ATEX (GB2KQ-A ATEX3P) produces up to approximately 440 L/min in open flow and reaches a maximum elevation head of approximately 19 m.
