Product Overview

Slipway washdown crews and oyster-lease operators move serious water on household current with this 2-inch single-phase bronze pump, shifting almost half a cubic metre a minute without calling an electrician for three-phase. Single-phase 240 V supply is all it asks. Sold as GB2KQ-A/B 2.2 1P, this is the single-phase 2-inch bronze pump for domestic-supply sites.

Wide-open flow peaks at 450 L/min, shutting off, shutting off at 19 m head (27 PSI). The Mil-Spec equivalent cast nickel-aluminium bronze body houses a large open impeller that swallows solids to 16 mm, sealed by carbon against alumina with nitrile rubber inside a 316 stainless casing.

Without lead or plug, the 2.2 kW single-phase 240 V motor wires straight into a permanent switchboard connection, carrying IP54 protection against damp compartments. The 2-inch suction and discharge lift 6 m unaided, and the suction cover unbolts when gritty water scores it.

Deck washdown, bilge pump-out, salvage pumping and marine air conditioning are the rated applications for this configuration. It supports the everyday movement of water around boat decks and machinery spaces, while also covering bilge clearing and emergency salvage work when conditions demand it. Where Viton seals are specified, AdBlue and chemical transfer are also within the listed application range.

Features

  • Direct-wired 2.2 kW single-phase 240 V drive with IP54 enclosure runs from household current without three-phase upgrades.
  • Open discharge of 450 L/min, shutting off at 19 m head (27 PSI) moves serious washdown and dewatering volume.
  • Mil-Spec equivalent bronze throughout the wetted parts resists seawater corrosion season after season.
  • Solids to 16 mm pass the large open bronze impeller, handling fish waste, weed and bilge debris.
  • Self-priming lift of 6 m with a renewable bolt-off suction cover keeps servicing to a single part swap.
  • Corrosive cargoes are handled by specifying optional Viton elastomers for the seal set.
  • Covered by the 3 year Aussie GMP warranty from installation.

From what vertical intake depth can this unit draw liquid without pre filling lines across unflooded suction setups?

Built-in priming passages on the Aussie Pumps Bronze Electric Transfer B2KQ-A/B (GB2KQ-A-B-2.2-1P) draw fluid vertically from depths up to 6 m without requiring an external foot valve once the casing is filled.

What peak delivery volume and vertical elevation head does this pump produce under full operating speed?

Across open pipeline runs, the GB2KQ A B 2.2 1P pushes fluid at a maximum throughput of approximately 450 L/min while attaining a shut-off head ceiling of approximately 19 m.

What size spherical solids can pass through the impeller without creating clogs across demanding site dewatering duties?

The open nickel-aluminium bronze impeller on the GB2KQ-A/B 2.2 1P allows spherical solids up to 16 mm in diameter to pass freely without choking internal water passages.

How does cast nickel aluminium bronze protect the pump wet end from aggressive saltwater during prolonged sea transfer?

Seawater corrosion resistance on the GB2KQ-A/B 2.2 1P is achieved through cast nickel-aluminium bronze construction across the volute and impeller.

What electrical power supply and phase configuration drive the motor to initiate shaft rotation?

Incoming electrical supply operates the B2KQ-A/B (GB2KQ-A/B 2.2 1P) through an electric motor delivering 2.2 kW 240V 1-Phase.
