Product Overview

Engine rooms with 415 V distribution feed this three-phase 2-inch bronze pump straight off the board, giving trawlers and ferries a hard-wired dewatering station that never competes with galley loads. IP55 sealing stands up to hose-down compartments. Catalogued as GB2KQ-A/B2.23PS2, the three-phase 2-inch unit suits 415 V engine rooms.

Delivery spans 450 L/min at open discharge up to a 19 m (27 PSI) shut-off head. Heavy-duty cast nickel-aluminium bronze to Mil-Spec equivalent standard shapes casing and large open impeller for 16 mm solids, with a carbon/alumina seal, nitrile rubber and 316 stainless casing holding the pressure.

IP55 sealing around the 2.2 kW three-phase 415 V motor stands up to hose-down compartments, and the lead-free supply suits contactor wiring for hard-wired dewatering stations. Priming holds to 6 m through 2-inch ports, with the replaceable cover taking wear instead of the casing.

Marine deck washdown, bilge pump-out, salvage pumping and marine air-conditioning duties place this unit where working boats need one pump to cover routine water management as well as emergency clearing. It suits washdown plumbing, bilge service and salvage work across commercial and recreational vessels. Where Viton seals are specified, AdBlue and chemical transfer are also within the listed application range.

Features

  • Washdown-proof IP55 enclosure on the 2.2 kW 415 V three-phase motor withstands hose-down compartments and wet decks.
  • Open flow of 450 L/min, shutting off at 19 m (27 PSI) feeds hard-wired dewatering stations continuously.
  • Cast bronze to Mil-Spec equivalent standard shapes both casing and trash-capable open impeller.
  • Bilge debris to 16 mm passes without blocking, protecting the pump from typical floating waste.
  • Vertical self-priming of 6 m pairs with a wear-taking suction cover that sacrifices itself to save the volute.
  • AdBlue and chemicals join the duty list when Viton seal variants are fitted.
  • Covered by the 3 year Aussie GMP warranty from installation.

How is site electricity connected to run this electric pump package during fixed installation wiring?

Electric power drives the Aussie Pumps Bronze Electric Transfer B2KQ-A/B (GB2KQ-A-B2.23PS2) via a close-coupled unit rated at 2.2 kW 415V 3-Phase, wired into fixed switchboard connections.

How does cast nickel aluminium bronze protect the pump wet end from aggressive saltwater across coastal workboat duties?

Cast nickel-aluminium bronze metallurgy on the GB2KQ A B2.23PS2 resists aggressive saltwater corrosion across marine decks, bilges, and oyster leases.

From what vertical intake depth can this unit draw liquid without pre filling lines when drafting from deep sumps?

Automatic priming action on the GB2KQ-A/B2.23PS2 drafts liquid from vertical depths down to 6 m without needing a foot valve.

What size spherical solids can pass through the impeller without creating clogs during routine excavation drainage?

The open vane nickel-aluminium bronze impeller on the GB2KQ-A/B2.23PS2 clears dirty site runoff and solid debris up to 16 mm in diameter without stalling the shaft.

What peak delivery volume and vertical elevation head does this pump produce across long transfer runs?

At peak operational capacity, the wet end of the B2KQ-A/B (GB2KQ-A/B2.23PS2) produces up to approximately 450 L/min in open flow and reaches a maximum elevation head of approximately 19 m.
