Product Overview

Coastal councils dewatering storm pits and boat ramps lean on this mid-frame 5.5 kW bronze pump, bridging the gap between utility pumps and full station plant at 1,400 litres a minute. The steel base plate anchors it against torque reaction on concrete plinths. Mid-frame storm-water duties call for GB3XR-A/B 5.5KW on concrete plinths and manifolds.

Delivery tops 1,400 L/min open flow, shutting off at 28 m head (40 PSI). The Mil-Spec equivalent cast nickel-aluminium bronze wet end carries a large open impeller passing 24 mm solids, sealed carbon-to-alumina with nitrile rubber in a 316 stainless casing.

Concrete plinths accept the steel base plate directly, anchoring the 5.5 kW three-phase 415 V IP55 motor against starting torque for fixed storm-water installations. Supplied lead-free for starter wiring, the pump primes its 3-inch passages from 6 m, sacrificing only the bolt-on suction cover to abrasion.

This pump is intended for marine deck washdown, bilge pump-out, salvage pumping and marine air-conditioning circulation. Those duties cover regular deck cleaning, bilge clearing and onboard water movement, making it a practical fit for workboats, tenders, fishing vessels and marina service installations. Where Viton seals are specified, AdBlue and chemical transfer are also within the listed application range.

Features

  • Fixed-installation 5.5 kW 415 V IP55 motor on an anchored steel base holds alignment under starting torque.
  • Open discharge of 1,400 L/min, shutting off at 28 m (40 PSI) bridges utility pumps and station plant.
  • Mil-Spec equivalent bronze build with a large open impeller tolerates storm debris and salt exposure.
  • Storm-debris clearance of 24 mm, including shell grit and pit gravel, passes without jamming.
  • Self-priming suction of 6 m keeps the pump working through fluctuating pit levels and tides.
  • AdBlue and chemical range follows once Viton seals are specified for the unit.
  • Covered by the 3 year Aussie GMP warranty from installation.

How deep can this self priming pump draw water from underground sumps once the casing is charged?

Vertical suction capability on the Aussie Pumps Bronze Electric Transfer B3XR-A/B (GB3XR-A-B-5.5KW) reaches up to 6 m, evacuating intake line air swiftly without requiring a flooded suction inlet.

How many litres per minute and vertical metres can this wet end deliver under full operating speed?

Under full operating throttle, the GB3XR A B 5.5KW generates a maximum fluid displacement rate of approximately 1400 L/min and reaches a maximum shut-off head of approximately 28 m.

What maximum diameter debris particles travel through the internal waterways without choking when pumping slurry runoff?

Spherical debris up to 24 mm in size clears the non-clog nickel-aluminium bronze impeller on the GB3XR-A/B 5.5KW without obstructing discharge flow.

How does the bronze wet end resist marine corrosion during prolonged sea exposure across coastal workboat duties?

Seawater corrosion resistance on the GB3XR-A/B 5.5KW is achieved through cast nickel-aluminium bronze construction across the volute and impeller.

How is site electricity connected to run this electric pump package across local power connections?

Mechanical power on the B3XR-A/B (GB3XR-A/B 5.5KW) is delivered by an electric drive rated at 5.5 kW 415V 3-Phase, built for direct connection to site power.
