Product Overview
Ballast and bilge systems on hydraulically equipped vessels empty fast through this 4-inch bronze hydraulic pump, pushing up to 1,520 litres a minute of seawater without touching the ship's electrical load. Volume without amps. Ballast and bilge volume without ship power is GB4KQ-A/B HYD in 4-inch bronze.
Open flow reaches 1,520 L/min with shut-off at 15 m (21 PSI). Nial bronze construction with an open non-clog impeller handles marine water, sealed carbon/alumina with nitrile rubber.
Seven kilowatts of vessel hydraulics do the work of a second engine: 21 cm3/rev at 150 bar drives 1,520 litres a minute of seawater without touching ship's electrical load. Full 100 mm ports self-prime from 6 m, with servicing simplified at the replaceable suction port.
Use this hydraulic pump for marine pumping, mine dewatering, water transfer and fire-fighting duties. The application range suits onboard water movement and shore work as readily as site dewatering, tank-to-tank transfer and ready access to water during fire-response situations.
Features
- Engine-replacing demand of 21 cm3/rev at 150 bar (7 kW) moves ballast water on vessel hydraulics.
- Open discharge of 1,520 L/min, shutting off at 15 m (21 PSI) empties ballast and bilges rapidly.
- Ballast-grade Nial bronze 4-inch pump resists seawater corrosion through years of cycling.
- Marine-continuous duty suits the open non-clog impeller with carbon, alumina and nitrile sealing.
- Simplified servicing at the replaceable suction port with 6 m self-priming cuts alongside time.
- At 64 kg, the package can be planned around appropriate lifting, skid or fixed-installation arrangements.
- Covered by the 3 year Aussie Pumps pump warranty.

How does the hydraulic motor couple to excavator or water truck oil supplies across mobile carrier equipment?
Mechanical drive torque for the Aussie Pumps Bronze Hydraulic Transfer B4KQ-A/B (GB4KQ-A-B-HYD) is supplied by a close-coupled hydraulic motor operating off mobile equipment auxiliary oil circuits.
What corrosion resistance benefits does the nickel aluminium bronze volute deliver across coastal workboat duties?
Cast nickel-aluminium bronze metallurgy on the GB4KQ A B HYD resists aggressive saltwater corrosion across marine decks, bilges, and oyster leases.
How effectively can the wet end evacuate air from long intake hose runs across unflooded suction setups?
Operating with built-in priming dynamics, the GB4KQ-A/B HYD draws water from vertical depths up to 6 m without external priming equipment.
What diameter solids can travel across the volute waterways without obstructing flow in everyday paddock dewatering?
An open non-clog nickel-aluminium bronze impeller on the GB4KQ-A/B HYD passes spherical solids and debris without choking internal water passages.
Which open discharge throughput and shut off elevation ceiling does this wet end develop under full operating speed?
Rated performance on the B4KQ-A/B (GB4KQ-A/B HYD) generates an open discharge of approximately 1520 L/min and achieves a total shut-off elevation of approximately 15 m.
