Product Overview

Shipyard flood control and ballast trimming demand station-class flow, delivered here by an 11 kW base-mounted bronze pump shifting up to 2,250 litres a minute. Bolt the steel base to the deck and let the 4-inch ports do the rest. Station-class 11 kW flow carries the designation GB4XR-A/B 11KW3P for shipyards and ballast systems.

Hydraulics span 2,250 L/min open discharge to a 30 m (43 PSI) shut-off head. Heavy-duty Mil-Spec equivalent cast nickel-aluminium bronze forms casing and large open impeller for 35 mm solids, with a carbon/alumina seal, nitrile rubber and 316 stainless casing.

Switchboard wiring connects directly to the lead-free 11 kW three-phase 415 V IP55 motor, bolted down on its steel base for deck mounting. Twin 4-inch connections prime from 6 m below, and the wearing face renews through the replaceable suction cover.

This pump is intended for marine deck washdown, bilge pump-out, salvage pumping and marine air-conditioning circulation. Those duties cover regular deck cleaning, bilge clearing and onboard water movement, making it a practical fit for workboats, tenders, fishing vessels and marina service installations. Where Viton seals are specified, AdBlue and chemical transfer are also within the listed application range.

Features

  • Direct-to-board 11 kW 415 V IP55 motor on a deck-bolted steel base plate takes switchboard wiring with no lead.
  • Maximum flow of 2,250 L/min, shutting off at 30 m (43 PSI) controls floods and trims ballast rapidly.
  • Station-scale seawater flow suits the Mil-Spec equivalent bronze wet end with 4-inch waterways.
  • Solids handling of 35 mm for flood silt, weed and ballast-tank scale passes without choking.
  • Below-pump self-priming of 6 m with a renewable wearing face suits deck and dock installations.
  • Fuel and chemical duty becomes available through range-stretching Viton elastomers in the seal set.
  • Covered by the 3 year Aussie GMP warranty from installation.

What maximum fluid displacement rate and shut off ceiling are developed across open site lines?

Operating across its performance curve, the Aussie Pumps Bronze Electric Transfer B4XR-A/B (GB4XR-A-B-11KW3P) discharges a maximum flow rate of approximately 2250 L/min and develops a maximum elevation head of approximately 30 m.

What maximum diameter debris particles travel through the internal waterways without choking in everyday paddock dewatering?

Spherical debris up to 35 mm in size clears the non-clog nickel-aluminium bronze impeller on the GB4XR A B 11KW3P without obstructing discharge flow.

What incoming voltage and phase supply are required to operate this motor to initiate shaft rotation?

The close-coupled electric drive on the GB4XR-A/B 11KW3P operates with a motor rated at 11 kW 415V 3-Phase, providing steady operating torque across site duties.

Does the suction line require a foot valve to draft liquid from below ground during everyday operations?

Vertical suction capability on the GB4XR-A/B 11KW3P reaches up to 6 m, evacuating intake line air swiftly without requiring a flooded suction inlet.

What advantages does cast bronze construction provide for oyster leases and fish farming during prolonged sea transfer?

Seawater corrosion resistance on the B4XR-A/B (GB4XR-A/B 11KW3P) is achieved through cast nickel-aluminium bronze construction across the volute and impeller.
