Product Overview

Maximum abrasive volume flows through this 4-inch mud flagship at 2,200 litres a minute, digesting 39 mm solids through a stainless impeller on 12.5 kW of hydraulics. Nothing in the mud range moves more dirt-laden water. Maximum dirt-laden volume flows through GB4XR-A/STHYD/DR, the 4-inch mud flagship.

Delivery reaches 2,200 L/min open flow, shutting off at 30 m head (43 PSI). The cast-iron casing with stainless-steel open non-clog impeller passes 39 mm solids, with tungsten-carbide mechanical seal faces and nitrile rubber.

Maximum dirt-laden volume draws 32 cm3/rev at 100 bar (12.5 kW) through the Vivoil XV-3U/32 motor for up to 2,200 litres a minute digesting 39 mm solids. Full 100 mm ports self-prime from 6 m, with blockage clearing handled at the front clean-out port.

Use this pump on drilling rigs for sump dewatering, abrasive-water transfer and dust-suppression work. The application is centred on moving water around mobile drilling operations, from clearing accumulated water near the rig to supplying water where dust-control measures are needed.

Features

  • Volume-max Vivoil XV-3U/32 at 32 cm3/rev and 100 bar (12.5 kW) moves the most abrasive water.
  • Maximum flow of 2,200 L/min, shutting off at 30 m (43 PSI) digests 39 mm solids continuously.
  • Solids of 39 mm digested by the stainless open impeller clear the coarsest drilling debris.
  • Tungsten-carbide faces with nitrile rubber sealing protect the pump at flagship volumes.
  • Handled blockages clear via a front clean-out port with 6 m self-priming for fast recovery.
  • At 65 kg, the package can be planned around appropriate lifting, skid or fixed-installation arrangements.
  • Covered by the 3 year Aussie Pumps pump warranty.

What discharge output volume and total static head are achieved across long transfer runs?

Discharge performance for the Aussie Pumps Hydraulic Mud B4XR-A/ST (GB4XR-A-STHYD-DR) yields an open flow volume of approximately 2200 L/min and reaches a maximum shut-off elevation of approximately 30 m.

What diameter solids can travel across the volute waterways without obstructing flow when pumping slurry runoff?

Internal casing clearances on the GB4XR A STHYD DR allow the open AISI 316 stainless steel impeller to digest spherical matter up to 39 mm without binding.

What hydraulic circuit pressures and flow rates power this pumping unit during dust suppression operations?

Carrier machinery PTO circuits power the close-coupled hydraulic motor on the GB4XR-A/STHYD/DR, supplying steady shaft propulsion on site.

How effectively can the wet end evacuate air from long intake hose runs during everyday operations?

Built-in priming passages on the GB4XR-A/STHYD/DR draw fluid vertically from depths up to 6 m without requiring an external foot valve once the casing is filled.

How does the removable front hatch reduce downtime during blockage clearing without uncoupling suction plumbing?

Internal waterways and the impeller of the B4XR-A/ST (GB4XR-A/STHYD/DR) can be cleared rapidly through the front inspection hatch without disconnecting site hoses.
