Product Overview
Open pit mining superintendents commission the Aussie Mine Boss (QP40T/L100EMS2) four-inch diesel trash pump to evacuate deep sump water containing high concentrations of abrasive pit tailings and rock fragments. Full mine site compliance is delivered through factory-fitted battery lockout, emergency stop hardware, and structural framing. The front cleanout port enables swift chamber clearance during intensive site operations.
Civil dewatering capacity achieves a maximum delivery rate of 1,600 L/min and develops a maximum pressure of 34 psi. Total equipment mass is 145 kg in standard operating trim. Internal casing clearances allow spherical solids up to 38 mm to travel directly through the pump body without clogging. The hydraulic assembly combines a cast casing, ductile iron open impeller, and silicon carbide mechanical seal faces with nitrile elastomers.
Mechanical drive is provided by a Yanmar L100 10HP electric start diesel engine (includes gel battery & isolation switch) producing 10HP (7.4kW) Diesel. Plumbing connections incorporate 4" BSP male inlet & 4" BSP male outlet with front clean out port, and the self-priming wet end achieves 7.6 m vertical suction lift. Rapid self-priming internal dynamics pick up fluid swiftly without requiring manual foot valves on suction lines.
Complete spare parts support and factory technical documentation are accessible through Aussie Pumps distribution networks across Australia. stainless steel roll frame with lifting bar, battery isolation, E-stop, fire extinguisher encloses the equipment while isolating mechanical vibration and simplifying site movement. The structural mount provides balance during transport across field vehicles, trailers, and utility trays.
