Product Overview

Marine deck washdown, saltwater transfer, and vessel fire protection are the intended duties for this marine pump arrangement.

Hydraulic performance encompasses a maximum shut-off head of 75 m (107 PSI) at zero flow and an open-discharge flow capacity of up to 450 L/min at zero static head. The epoxy-coated marine aluminium casing houses a bronze impeller, bronze volute, sacrificial zinc anode drain plug, and ceramic/carbon mechanical seal. Mass: 30 kg. High-tensile body metallurgy resists outdoor weathering.

Driven by a Honda GX160 (5.5 HP) petrol engine with recoil start in a cold stainless steel roll frame (electric-start option includes stainless steel frame with anti-vibration mounts). Ports feature 2" inlet with 3-way outlet (2 x 1" & 1 x 1.5"), self-priming up to 7.6 m. Commercial Honda engine drive provides Steady starting torque and long operating life.

Supplied with free Geomet-treated couplings and suction strainer for immediate marine hookup. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel fasteners and zinc anode protection ensure long service life. Supported by complete spare parts stockists and schematics across regional distributor networks. Complete technical assembly schematics and spare parts are available nationwide through Aussie Pumps distribution networks.

What specialized marine coatings protect this unit from saltwater corrosion?

Treated with a specialized marine epoxy coating and sacrificial zinc anode protection, the Aussie Pumps Sea Skipper Marine QP205SE (QP205SE/GX160MAR) resists harsh maritime salt spray and galvanic corrosion during daily sea exposure.

How effectively does this assembly draw fluid from deep pits and channels?

Vertical priming performance for the QP205SE/GX160MAR reaches up to approximately 7.6 m, evacuating air from suction lines without priming aids.

What inlet and delivery plumbing fittings come with this assembly?

The QP205SE-GX160MAR supplies 2" BSP suction intake and 3-way discharge manifold (two 1" ports and one 1.5" port), supporting direct attachment of standard suction lines.

How much liquid displacement and pressure head are rated for operation?

The QP205SE GX160MAR produces up to approximately 450 L/min in fluid displacement and up to approximately 75 m in total dynamic head.

How is shaft power provided and initiated on this pump?

Equipped with a Honda GX160 5.5HP petrol engine, the QP205SE/GX160MAR engages via manual recoil pull starter to maintain steady rpm.
