Product Overview
High-volume marine transfer and barge dewatering are supported by this diesel marine configuration, which uses internal and external epoxy body coating, a bronze impeller and volute, and a sacrificial zinc anode to resist saltwater corrosion. Engineered for proven service in severe coastal and maritime.
Hydraulic performance encompasses a maximum shut-off head of 30 m (43 PSI) at zero flow and an open-discharge flow capacity of up to 1,050 L/min at zero static head. Boxed mass: 45 kg. High-tensile body metallurgy resists outdoor weathering and operational casing wear.
Driven by a fuel-efficient Yanmar L48 (4.8 HP) diesel engine with recoil start. Plumbing connections incorporate full 3" x 3" BSP male ports with replaceable flanged suction porting, while self-priming internal wet end passages draw water from depths up to 7.6 m. High-torque Yanmar diesel engine drive delivers strong fuel economy and operating endurance on site.
Supplied with free Geomet-treated couplings, suction strainer, and stainless steel external fasteners to withstand coastal environments. Technical assembly documentation, schematics, and replacement component stockists are available nationwide through distributor channels. Complete technical assembly schematics and spare parts stockists support ongoing field servicing.

Which engine specification and starting setup power the unit?
The Aussie Pumps Sea Skipper Marine QP303ED (QP303ED-L48) is driven by a Yanmar L48 4.8HP diesel engine, providing mechanical dependability with manual recoil pull starter.
Why is diesel propulsion preferred for onboard barge dewatering and marine transfer?
Diesel fuel compliance eliminates volatile petrol vapour hazards on boat decks, allowing the QP303ED-L48 to operate safely aboard marine barges, wharves, and shipping berths.
What maximum pumping volume and vertical elevation are specified?
At full throttle, the QP303ED-L48 achieves an open-discharge capacity of approximately 1,050 L/min and a maximum head limit of approximately 30 m.
What vertical drafting depth is achievable by the self priming wet end?
The QP303ED L48 draws liquid from vertical suction depths up to approximately 7.6 m, supporting direct pumping from creeks and dams.
Which connection sizes and manifold outlets are engineered on the casing?
Plumbing arrangements for the QP303ED/L48 encompass 3" x 3" BSP male threaded suction and discharge ports, fitting standard site hoses.
