Product Overview
Ballast pumping, aquaculture supply, and high-volume saltwater transfer are the applications associated with this large-port marine setup. Engineered for proven service in severe coastal and maritime duties.
Hydraulic performance encompasses a maximum shut-off head of 30 m (43 PSI) at zero flow and an open-discharge flow capacity of up to 1,300 L/min at zero static head. Built with an epoxy-coated marine aluminium casing, bronze impeller, bronze volute, ceramic/carbon mechanical seal, and zinc anode drain plug. Boxed weight: 110 kg. High-tensile body metallurgy resists outdoor weathering and harsh operating environments.
Powered by an electric-start Yanmar L100 (10 HP) diesel engine in a free stainless steel full roll frame with anti-vibration mounts (battery supplied separately). Plumbing features 3" x 3" BSP male ports, self-priming to 8.2 m vertical suction depth. High-torque Yanmar diesel engine drive delivers strong fuel economy on site.
Supplied with free Geomet-treated couplings, suction strainer, and stainless steel external hardware for long-term marine durability. Complete technical assembly diagrams, user manuals, and replacement component stockists are available through Aussie Pumps distributor networks. Complete technical assembly schematics and spare parts are available nationwide through Aussie Pumps distribution networks.

What marine features make this unit suitable for high-volume sea water transfer?
The Aussie Pumps Sea Skipper Marine QP310ED (QP310ED-L100E) combines marine-inhibited internal passages with zinc anode sacrificial protection, allowing high-volume seawater pumping without accelerated galvanic decay.
Which volumetric displacement and discharge height are delivered?
Discharge limits specified for the QP310ED-L100E include a maximum flow rate of approximately 1,300 L/min and a maximum head of approximately 30 m.
How are intake lines and discharge pipework connected to the pump?
Equipped for fast deployment, the QP310ED-L100E utilizes 3" x 3" BSP male suction and discharge ports for intake and discharge.
What drive motor is fitted and which ignition method applies?
Mechanical propulsion on the QP310ED L100E comes from a Yanmar L100 10HP electric-start diesel engine, initiated through electric key start with recoil backup.
From what intake depth can the pump re prime during field operations?
Operating with deep suction capability, the QP310ED/L100E lifts water vertically from depths reaching up to approximately 7.6 m.
