Delivering strong flow capacity with extra vertical reach, the Calpeda BS1F 1MXH 1603 package addresses the daily hydraulic demands of multi-storey commercial buildings and processing plants. At the heart of the skid sits a single Calpeda MXH 1603 horizontal multistage pump capable of moving up to 416.7 L/Min. When boosting water to upper floors, the system can develop up to 34 m of delivery head. Its balanced performance curve ensures upper-level outlets receive consistent supply when multiple fixtures open simultaneously.
System pressure stays within tight operating bands thanks to differential pressure switches with a microprocessor control board that oversees every start and stop cycle. Whenever downstream draw pulls manifold pressure below the preset threshold, the digital controller triggers pump engagement and holds duty until system pressure is restored. Anti-bounce timing algorithms prevent nuisance cycling caused by transient pressure waves, preserving contactors and mechanical seals.
Every wetted manifold section is fabricated from hygienic stainless steel AISI 304, combining a 50 mm suction line with a 40 mm delivery header for low-turbulence flow. Integrated isolation ball valves allow technicians to isolate the pump quickly, while spring-loaded check valves stop backflow when the unit rests. An easy-to-read pressure gauge sits alongside a dedicated port prepared for an external diaphragm expansion vessel.
Configured for hookup to a three-phase 415 V power feed, the pump motor features a three-phase 230/400 V winding configuration engineered to IEC 60034 benchmarks. The 2-pole induction unit rotates at 2900 rpm (50 Hz) with Class F insulation protecting the stator windings against heat buildup during extended run times. Rated at 1.8 kW (P2) mechanical output, the drive draws 4.8 A at full load.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
