Centred on 1 Calpeda MXH 1606 horizontal multistage pump, the BS1F 1MXH 1606 booster assembly delivers up to 416.7 L/Min. The multistage impeller stack can develop up to 68 m of head to overcome static building height. This single-pump skid keeps upper-floor amenities, industrial wash stations, and thermal circulation loops operating at peak efficiency.
Smart demand response is achieved through differential pressure switches with a microprocessor control board integrated onto the unit. Once downstream water usage drops line pressure to the lower setpoint, the microprocessor commands a clean start and maintains pump operation until full recovery is verified. Built-in damping timers prevent rapid stop-start oscillations during light draw, protecting electrical contactors and hydraulic seals from unnecessary wear.
Hygienic stainless steel AISI 304 headers form the intake and discharge manifolds, utilizing a 50 mm inlet connection and a 40 mm outlet port to maintain smooth laminar flow. Pre-assembled isolation ball valves and non-return check valves allow technicians to isolate the pump for servicing while stopping reverse flow. A clear dial pressure gauge and a dedicated takeoff port for an external diaphragm tank come standard.
Powered by a three-phase 415 V mains supply, the high-torque drive motor incorporates a three-phase 400/690 V winding rating compliant with IEC 60034 standards. Operating as a 2-pole induction machine at 2900 rpm (50 Hz), the motor uses Class F insulation to endure sustained thermal loads in warm plant rooms. All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
