Product Overview
Demanding commercial water systems that require both substantial flow volume and elevated delivery pressure are well served by the Calpeda BS1F 1MXH 2003 booster assembly. Configured with a single Calpeda MXH 2003 horizontal multistage pump, this packaged unit achieves flows up to 400 L/Min. For demanding vertical distribution, the multistage design can build up to 48.5 m of head. It provides reliable boosting for multi-storey hotels, food processing facilities, and centralized hot-water headers.
Onboard pressure management is handled by differential pressure switches with a microprocessor control board wired directly into the starter panel. When fixture openings cause line pressure to dip past the lower threshold, the digital board starts the pump and holds operation steady until system pressure recovers. Built-in delay intervals prevent rapid start-stop cycling during minor draw events, protecting both the motor and plumbing network.
Built throughout from sanitary stainless steel AISI 304, the header pipework pairs a 50 mm suction manifold with a 40 mm delivery manifold to minimize hydraulic resistance. Heavy-duty isolation ball valves and non-return check valves are integrated into the assembly to streamline maintenance and prevent reverse impeller spin. A manifold pressure gauge and a connection point for an external diaphragm tank are included as standard.
Suited to standard three-phase 415 V plant room power, the booster drive incorporates a three-phase 230/400 V motor winding rating engineered to IEC 60034 requirements. The 2-pole induction motor spins at 2900 rpm (50 Hz) and uses Class F insulation to resist thermal degradation during prolonged operation. With a 3 kW (P2) mechanical rating, the motor draws 6.6 A under full hydraulic load.

All products supplied by Foundation Pumps are covered by a minimum 12-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Some brands may offer longer manufacturer warranties. Warranty covers manufacturing defects, faulty materials and workmanship under normal use.
- Products must be installed correctly and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Warranty does not cover incorrect installation, misuse, dry running, normal wear and tear, unauthorised repairs or damage caused by external factors.
- Proof of purchase, photos, videos and installation details may be requested when assessing a warranty claim.
- The customer is responsible for returning the product to Foundation Pumps or the nominated service centre unless otherwise agreed.
- Removal, reinstallation, labour and associated site costs are generally the customer’s responsibility unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
- Change-of-mind returns may be accepted within 30 days provided the product is unused, uninstalled and returned in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return freight costs for change-of-mind returns.
- Restocking fees may apply to special-order, bulky or non-stocked products.
- Used, installed or specially ordered products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
- If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact Foundation Pumps as soon as possible so we can assist with the appropriate repair, replacement or refund.
